What this policy covers
This policy explains what TXGreenPass ("we," "us," "the Site") collects when you visit txgreenpass.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. It does not cover the privacy practices of the telehealth evaluation services, dispensaries, or other third-party sites we link to — each of those has its own policy, and you should read it before creating an account or providing information there.
Information we collect
Renewal reminder signup. If you enter your email address in the renewal reminder form, we collect that email address and the date you signed up. That's it — we don't ask for your name, condition, prescription details, or any other personal information as part of that form.
Standard hosting logs. Like any website, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs basic request information — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — for security and reliability purposes. We don't use this data to build individual visitor profiles, and it isn't shared beyond what our hosting provider retains to operate the Site.
What we don't collect. We are not a medical practice, and we don't collect, request, or store any health information, prescription records, or Compassionate Use Registry (CURT) data. That information lives with your physician, your evaluation provider, and the state registry — never with us.
How we use your information
The email address you provide for renewal reminders is used for exactly that: a reminder email timed around your Texas Compassionate Use Program prescription's typical follow-up window. We send these reminder emails through Resend, our email service provider, which processes the address on our behalf under its own data protection practices. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address to anyone, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Cookies and analytics
As of September 11, 2026, this site does not run analytics software, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. If that changes in the future — for example, if we add privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful — we'll update this policy first and note what's added and why.
Affiliate links and referral fees
Many links on this site point to telehealth evaluation services and dispensaries. Some of those links are affiliate links, and we may earn a referral fee if you use them, at no additional cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link and interacting with that provider's site is governed by that provider's own privacy policy and terms, not this one. We don't receive any information back from providers about whether you completed an evaluation or what was discussed — that relationship is between you and them.
Your choices
Every renewal reminder email includes an unsubscribe link that removes you from the list immediately. You can also email hello@txgreenpass.com at any time to ask what information we hold about you or to request that we delete it.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. The Texas Compassionate Use Program does allow a minor to be prescribed cannabis with a parent or legal guardian on record as caregiver, but that relationship is established directly between the family, the prescribing physician, and the dispensary — it never runs through this website or our renewal-reminder list.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever this policy changes, and material changes — anything that affects how we collect or use your information — will be reflected here before they take effect.
