Acceptance of these terms

By using txgreenpass.com ("the Site"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, the only remedy we can offer is not using the Site — we don't have an account system or a way to opt out of specific sections.

What TXGreenPass is

TXGreenPass is an independent information and directory site covering the Texas Compassionate Use Program (TCUP). We are not a medical practice, we do not employ physicians, we do not evaluate patients, and we do not issue prescriptions. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal representation. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the State of Texas, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Department of State Health Services, or any dispensary or telehealth provider named on this site.

No medical or legal advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for a consultation with a licensed Texas physician. Nothing on this site is legal advice or a substitute for consulting a licensed attorney about your specific situation — this matters in particular for the employment, workers' compensation, and firearms content on this site, where the law is unsettled or turns on facts specific to your job, your employer, and your record. Read that content as a starting point for questions to ask a professional, not as a final answer.

Affiliate relationships and compensation

TXGreenPass participates in referral and affiliate programs with telehealth evaluation services and, where available, dispensaries. This means we may earn a commission or referral fee when you click certain links on this site and complete an evaluation, purchase, or sign-up with that provider — at no additional cost to you. This financial relationship does not change the price you pay, but it is a reason we link to some providers and not others, and you should weigh that when comparing options. Outbound provider and dispensary links on this site route through /go/ and /d/ redirect pages so we can keep those links current as programs change.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep pricing, policy, and licensing information current and note when it was last verified, but laws, prices, dispensary locations, and provider policies change — sometimes faster than we can update every page. Before you rely on a specific price, address, or policy detail, verify it directly with the provider or dispensary. We are not responsible for decisions made based on information that changed after our last verification date.

Third-party sites

Links to evaluation services, dispensaries, and other third-party sites are provided for your convenience. We don't control those sites, and we aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability. Visiting a linked site is at your own discretion and subject to that site's own terms.

Limitation of liability

The Site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TXGreenPass is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, your reliance on its content, or your interactions with any third-party provider linked from it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Site, the law, or our provider relationships change. We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever that happens. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Don't let your prescription lapse

Texas issues no card, so nothing expires in your wallet and no notice arrives in the mail. Access ends when your refills run out or your physician's follow-up date arrives, and most patients find out from a dispensary order that won't go through. Leave your email and we'll remind you before that happens, plus send the current renewal prices.
